“La Valsassina è terra di miniere da un millennio forse più.
La miniera più antica datata risale al 1100, ma probabilmente già i Romani prendevano il piombo dalla zona.
Le miniere dei Piani Resinelli, di solfuro di Piombo, sono un viaggio nella storia mineraria, visto e toccato con mano, in circa 90 minuti di esplorazione con caschetto in testa e gambe buone.
La Miniera di Primaluna è recentissima, lavoravano fino a soli 6 anni fa; estraevano il solfato di bario: a cosa serve? lo mettevano sui formaggi, venite a scoprire come! Questa miniera è accessibile ai disabili motori con un carrello ed ai non vedenti.
In tutte possono entrare in sicurezza i bambini dai 3 anni in sù; gli animali stanno meglio fuori, all’aperto.”
