ALESSANDRO BOER
Alessandro Boer is an Italian Country Dance Teacher, Choreographer and Art he spent his early years in teaching and spreading the word of country music and dance.
As a teacher, he is mainly focused on Line Dance and TwoStep; as a choreographer he collected invitations to join the most famous Italian country dance festivals of the last years, where he taught several successful choreographies.
Among his last works there are choreographies such as Overrated, Somewhere In My Car, Riverbank (selected as official line dance for FIDS’s line dance competitions in 2014), and the latest Untamed (selected for the current AICOWED country dance championship)
In the middle of his career he passed through the country-western dance competition world, collecting many victories, but he abandoned quite soon, because for him it wasn’t as satisfying as the social events were. He began organizing events and country dance tours. Those gears have been working until today: his last tour, “VeronaSummerCountry”, collected over 60 dates between May and September.
In 2013 he founded an organization called “Countrymania”, which purpose is to create and support the biggest country events in Italy, with the charge of President and Art Director.
The first and greatest achievement was managing the rebirth of the Country Music&Dance Hall inside the famous Horse Fair “Fieracavalli”.
Things went on and in 2015 “Rodeo & Juliet” was created: it was the first Country Dance Night in history to take place in front of the famous Roman Arena in Verona.
In 2016, Alessandro has been hired as Art Director of the big Line Dance Pavillion at the Billy Bob’s Texas Country Fair in Padua. Director of some of the most famous country festivals in Italy.
